Our campaignPublished: 6 Oct 2020
For everyone, from day one, with Virgin Money.
One in two people will have a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.
Macmillan is a national charity designed to support everyone with cancer. There are cancer charities for women, children, distinct types of cancer and people with cancer in different areas in the UK. Macmillan wants to be there for everyone, anywhere with any kind of cancer.
Getting support from day one makes a huge difference. It means people with cancer get the information they need to make sense of their diagnosis and make the treatment decisions that are right for them. It also means we can hold hands throughout treatment and be there when someone needs to talk. We can help people with the work and money worries that cancer can bring, so people can concentrate on their treatment and live life as fully as they can.
Changing lives together
We are delighted to be working with Virgin Money – we can do great things together!
- use the ‘Everyone. From day one’ campaign to raise awareness of our services
- work with Virgin Money to signpost vulnerable customers to Macmillan
- raise money to fund the expansion of our support line services
- fund the training programmes of up to 80,000 cancer professionals so we can provide vital emotional, practical and financial support for more people from diagnosis on.
Help us be there for everyone
Right now, we’re reaching one in four at diagnosis. With your help, we can aim to be there for everyone. Let’s get started.
